Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Truck-mount capacity handles larger losses without slowing down partway through.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
A final moisture sweep confirms target levels were actually reached before we leave.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.

Jasper L., Westmoreland"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Westmoreland"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Westmoreland"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Westmoreland"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., WestmorelandIf your question about water extraction isn't covered here, call +1-844-578-1604 and we'll walk you through it directly.
